Justice Challa Kodanda Ram is a former judge of the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the State of Telangana (Retd. 2021). He was designated Senior Advocate by the High Court of Andhra Pradesh in 2009. Justice Challa Kodanda Ram oversees the management of the firm and advises the firm on the handling of high-stakes disputes across sectors in India.
Manisha Tiwari

Manisha Tiwari is managing partner and head of the shipping, trade and commercial law practice at the firm. Manisha holds an LLM in Maritime Law from the Indian Maritime University. She regularly advises shipping lines, P&I Clubs, businesses, and government entities on all aspects of maritime and trade law. Her practice focuses on ship arrest and release, commercial contracts, maritime claims, carriage of goods by sea, and marine insurance. She acts for and is instructed to act as counsel for clients before Indian Courts as well as foreign-seated arbitrations. Manisha is a faculty member at the Indian Maritime University and Narottam Morarjee Institute of Shipping. She is also an established author and regularly takes up speaking engagements.
Pradeep Chaturvedi

Pradeep is a Partner and heads the regulatory practice at the firm. With over 35 years of experience in public policy and regulatory affairs, Pradeep advises clients on their internal policies, regulatory compliance, and liaising with State departments. He also specialises in legislation and policy drafting, having been part of parliamentary committees, public offices, UNDP projects and serving as an advisor to several high offices in the Government of India. Pradeep holds an LLM from the University of Delhi and is a member of the Indian Council of Arbitration and the Indian Law Institute. Pradeep regularly advises businesses, international organisations and States.
Satyam Singh Rajput

Satyam Singh Rajput is a partner and heads the disputes practice at the firm. Satyam holds an LLM in Criminal and Security Laws from Parul University. His practice focuses on Supreme Court litigation, arbitration and human rights advisory. He is the General Secretary of the Legal Cell at the International Human Rights Protection Council (IHRPC), a non-governmental organisation incorporated in India. Satyam has regularly advised and represented clients before Courts and Tribunals in complex commercial disputes, public law matters and seafarer distress claims.
Dr. Kalyan Mitra
Associate Partner
Dr. Kalyan is an Associate Partner and acts as the firm’s technical advisor. Dr. Kalyan primarily handles issues arising from maritime incidents such as collisions, salvage, oil and HNS pollution, general average and the use of tugs, tows and pilots. As part of the firm, he supports lead counsel on various technical and operational matters in shipping and trade. Dr. Kalyan has over 40 years of experience in the maritime sector. He is empanelled as a technical maritime arbitrator with the Indian Council of Arbitrators and is appointed to be part of arbitral tribunals in several arbitrations.
Mrinal Aiyappa
Associate
Mrinal is an Associate at the firm. He is a graduate of the National University of Singapore with an LLM in International and Comparative Law (2025). He was a researcher at an international law research centre and has clerked with a public office, where he represented State departments in energy, election, and eminent domain disputes. Mrinal primarily advises on public international law issues, including fisheries management, maritime delimitation, oil pollution, and submarine cables. He assists with international disputes arising out of state immunity, investment treaties, sovereign rights and state responsibility.
